Can I own a beauty salon and not have a beautician license?

I have the opportunity to open a beauty salon, have no intention to cut hair or do nails.

I don't see why not, but it's different from state to state so you'd have to check it out yourself. I imagine you can as long as you have licensed cosmetologists working for you.
